Welcome to the West Midlands Regional Women’s Enterprise Unit – launched in June 2006.
Our aim is make sure women across the West Midlands are able to tap into the right sort of business advice and support to meet their needs – to help them achieve their dreams of starting up their own business, or ambitions of growing and developing an existing business.
The purpose of the West Midlands Regional Women’s Enterprise Unit is to make sure you can access professional, confidential and excellent business support, but more importantly – advice and support delivered by people that are sensitive and aware of the many other balls we women have to juggle in the air at once!
The service is not dependent upon experience, financial or educational background, age, race, ability or disability – as long as you want to start and grow your own business… we’re here to help!
The West Midland Regional Women’s Enterprise Unit is managed by three partners with many years expertise in supporting the creation and growth of women's businesses:

Prowess is a network of organisations and individuals who support the growth of women's business ownership. Their work encompasses raising awareness, sharing of best practice, advocacy and information.
