Opening Doors Programme - for rural businesses

‘Opening Doors’ is a new and unique programme of workshops, training support and information for women thinking of or starting up their own business based in a rural setting. Covering the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire, ‘Opening Doors’ has been specifically developed by women for women.
The ‘Opening Doors’ programme aims to help women gain the confidence, knowledge, support and skills they need to start up their own business in a relaxed and enjoyable event in venues and at times convenient for them. We will help you build an action plan to get you on the path to being your own boss with a structured and supportive package of training and information.
‘Opening Doors’ has been created by Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE), one of the partners in the RWEU and is part of a collaborative project with the Women’s Business Development Agency (WBDA) and Prowess. It is funded and supported by Advantage West Midlands (AWM), and the European Social Fund (ESF).
